Privacy

This site sets no cookies and shows no advertising. It records one thing about a visit, so that I can tell whether it works for the people I send it to.

Load times and crashes

When you leave the page, your browser sends one small record back to this site: the page, the site that linked here (its name only), how long the page and its 3D room took to appear, whether your browser could draw the room at all (and if not, why), the first few error messages if something broke, your screen size and pixel density, whether you asked for reduced motion, and the family of your browser and operating system (such as “Safari on iOS”). The server adds the country from the request. The record holds no IP address, no cookie and no identifier, and is kept only in the host's short-lived request log.

So that a page your browser closed on its own (a phone short of memory does this) can still be reported, the page keeps one short note in this tab’s session storage: which exhibit you are at. The browser deletes it when the tab closes, and it is sent only as part of the record above. Your IP address is used for a moment, to refuse more than a few records a minute from one address, and is never stored.
